New Players Welcome
All new players welcome. Contact a member of staff below or feel free to turn up at a training session.
At present we particpate in Division One of the Merit League.
Last year we re-branded our second team and played a season under the new name of 'Saxons'. Similar to the England Elite Squad who themselves have a 'Saxons' team below them. We too feel that players that wish to progress through to the First Team here at DRFC can feel that progressing from Colts to Third Team then to the Saxons you will be on the verge of becoming a First Team player. In addition, for the historians amongst you Droitwich was in fact a 'Saxon' settlement many years ago!!! People may see in town 'Saxon' players wearing the black polo with our emblem on it.
....and like most rugby players we do enjoy the social side as well as playing!
