Youth Policy begins to show.
DRFC see's growing numbers of ex Mini & Junior players coming through to play at senior level.
On Saturday 28th January, 12 out of the 17 players selected for the 1st XV team against Barkers Butts have come through from our highly successful M & J Section, with many more in the 2nd XV.
This is good news for the club & its future & shows that its youth policy is beginning to work, especially when we see so much talent coming through the Junior ranks.
It also shows that the club is getting things right, as the club selectors identify players coming through & give players the opportunities they deserve.
Anyone willing to play, train & learn the game is welcome at DRFC & our committment to develop players is beginning to pay dividend.
Coaches at all levels within the club are committed to take the club forward by investing time & effort into developing players for the future & this shows that the opportunities are there for anyone willing to take up the challenge.
