Under 7's shine at Cheltenham Rugby Festival

At the recent Cheltenham Rugby Festival, Droitwich Under 7’s finished in 3rd place overall. They were joint top of their group after winning two and losing one of their three group matches. However they missed out on a place in the final by virtue of the fact that Bredon had scored one more try than them during the 3 games, even though they’d actually beaten Bredon 5 tries to 2.
That meant they played in the 3rd/4th place 'Play Off' and the team were magnificent in beating Cirencester 5-3 in a very good match to secure 3rd place.
Whilst all the boys played well in their first tournament, special mention goes to Joseph Neale who scored 7 of their 16 tries, with James Webster and Adam Shaw contributing 3 tries each.
