Droitwich RFC U17's got off to a flier against Stourbridge RFC U17's this Sunday opening up a ten point lead early in the game through a penalty by Bobby Scott-Walker and a try by Chris Rouse.

Stourbridge came back strongly and briefly took a 12 - 10 lead during the first half after scoring two tries from Droitwich mistakes, before Scott-Walker kicked a penalty to restore the away side's lead.

The Droitwich pack were superb, putting Stourbridge under pressure at every scrummage and line-out and turned over a lot of opposition ball.

The second half saw Droitwich make changes and they moved up a gear to ease the score and game out of Stourbridge's reach, with tries coming from man of the match Jack Pomroy (2), Sam Davenport and Will Baillon.

Scott-Walker converted 3 out of 5 conversions and added another penalty to the score. Stourbridge scored a consolation try late on to finish the game.
