Droitwich U15 66 - Kings Norton U15 0

Sunday, October 30, 2005

Droitwich U15's entertained a spirited Kings Norton side on Sunday and ran out easy winners. Droitwich rotated their players throughout the game in order that they would be rested in readiness for their cup game against Luctonians next week.

The breakthrough came early on through Charles Jackson, which was quickly followed by first half tries by (M.o.M.) Ton Inett (2), Tim Cave (2) and Jon Dowson. Two conversions by Bobby Scott Walker gave Droitwich a healthy 34-0 half-time lead.

Despite player substitutions, Droitwich continued to put points on the board in the second half. Tries were scored by Jack Pomroy, Harry Baille, Calum Kinghorn (2) and Dan Wilkinson. Wilkinson showed good pace on the wing to score a brilliant solo effort. A conversion from Kinghorn completed the scoring in what proved difficult conditions with a strong wind.

Droitwich U14's also overcame near neighbours Chaddesley Corbett 19-7 to continue their good start to the season.

Droitwich U17's played host to welsh side Pontypridd and won comfortably 24-5.
