Droitwich started the game needing a victory and 21 points to win the league.
Droitwich showed how much they wanted this win when Teddy Jones scored only minutes after the kick-off. Chris Lyons added another score when a trademark side-step led to his first try of the season. Jones then doubled his tally as he scored again later in the half.
Droitwich were 19-3 up at half time leaving them needing 3 points to secure the league. Droitwich kept the tempo up as Ben Skinner scored the vital try minutes into the second half. Teddy Jones also added 3 out of 4 conversions and Droitwich held on to secure the win and the league with a 26-15 victory.
