Droitwich RFC Under 7’s v Worceseter

On Sunday morning Droitwich Under 7’s made the short trip to Sixways to take on their Worcester counterparts and did exceptionally well in the four matches played.

Droitwich were narrowly beaten 8 - 6 in the first match before coming back strongly to win matches two and three by scores of 8 - 6 and 7 - 1. The fourth match ended in a tight 6 - 6 draw.

Droitwich then finished a very busy morning with a victory over fellow visitors Old Saltleians from Coleshill by 6 tries to 3.

There were try scoring contributions from most of the Droitwich squad, with ‘hat tricks’ from Joseph Neale, Benjamin Lee, Adam Shaw, Aran Foster and Ben Keepax, whilst James Webster, Will Bishop, Jules Gwinnutt, Joe Corlett, Miles Petit, William Blackledge and Archie Jones scored two tries each. Arthur Carter, Nathan Joss, Ben Wadley and Jakob Terry were also on the scoresheet with a try apiece.

A great all round effort from all the boys who can be very proud of their achievements against strong opponents.
