Droitwich U13’s 12 - Malvern U13’s 5

Today saw half the squad in Malvern with the rest playing Bromsgrove at home. The team got off to a great start with Huw Selvey scoring in the first few minutes and Bradley Cook converting. The team then set up camp inside Malvern’s 22 for a large part of the game. The forwards did excellent work and their scrummaging was fantastic, but they could not get the ball across the line cleanly and the score stayed the same until the second half.

The start of the second half was similar and then Malvern made a great breakaway try to bring it back to 7—5. More pressure from the team eventually opened up an opportunity and Joe Pittaway took it to 12—5, with Bradley unable to convert in the strong wind. The team kept up the pressure until the end but the score stayed the same.
