Droitwich RFC Minis’ Silverware Sparkles in Spring Sunshine
Sunday, 18th March, 2007
Droitwich RFC Mini’s travelled to St Mary’s RFC in Bristol for their first tournament of the season and were rewarded for their efforts by winning a large amount of silverware.
All sides had a great day, despite the ever changing weather, and everyone entered into the spirit of things and did the club proud.
Droitwich U7’s, U8’s and U9’s all won through to their cup finals, with the U7’s and U8’s winning their competition outright. The U9’s collected silverware after drawing in their cup final and sharing the trophy.
Droitwich U10’s meanwhile won through to the plate final, which ended in another draw, resulting in the trophy being shared as well.
Next Sunday (March 25th) sees Droitwich RFC host their first ever Mini Festival at the Glyn Mitchell Memorial Ground, where they will be hoping to achieve similar success.
