Sunday 12th February 2006

Droitwich Juniors continue to impress with all four sides recording good results this weekend.

Droitwich U13’s put in a huge effort to overcome near neighbours Kidderminster by 36 – 0, with all but one try coming in the first half.

Droitwich U14’s also put up a superb display against Kidderminster in an evenly matched game, which ended 5 – 5.  Droitwich’s try scorer was Thomas Pittaway, with Tom Griffin being named man of the match.

Droitwich U15’s continued their winning run with a 24 – 12 win also over Kidderminster, with tries coming from Tom Millward, Tom Fogarty, Harry Baille and Shaun Hooper. Joint man of the match was awarded to Sam Davenport and Will Baillon, who both put in some huge tackles at the back to stop Kidderminster’s attack.

Droitwich U17’s managed to hold onto the top spot in their U17’s league game against Walsall, running out easy winners by 53 – 0, with a tough game approaching next week against Birmingham Solihull.
