Hereford U15’s 5 - Droitwich U15’s 24
Sunday, 29th January, 2006
With a delayed kick off because of ground conditions Droitwich U15’s started strongly. Excellent handling along the back line exposed Hereford’s defence early on with Droitwich coming close on a number of occasions.
The deadlock was broken when Shaun Hooper crashed over after some good support play, the second came from Jack Pomroy who broke clear to score under the posts after some good back line passing.
The second half saw Droitwich continue to press with Charlie Fry going close early on. Max Fitter scored Droitwich’s third using his strength to power over. Harry Baille added Droitwich’s fourth driving over the line with power. Bobby Scott-Walker added two of the conversions in difficult kicking conditions.
M.o.m award was jointly awarded to David Edwards and Charlie Fry for their excellent contribution to the game.
