Droitwich started slowly in this game, with 5 players away on county duties Droitwich allowed Bridgnorth to open up a healthy gap before clawing themselves back into the game.
The only try in the first half for Droitwich came from David Edwards and Bridgnorth were easily in command with the score at 29 - 5 at the break.
The second half saw Droitwich make numerous changes and saw them come back strongly. The home side now had the majority of the ball which resulted in a charge to overcome Bridgnorth’s lead. Tries by Jack Pomroy, Adam Gwilliam, Sean Storey and John Dowson saw Droitwich close the gap, before time ran out.
Man of the match for Droitwich was Adam Gwilliam, for his all round performance.
