Willenhall U15’s 5 - Droitwich U15’s 5
Sunday, 27th November, 2005
This was a fiercely contested game from the start. Willenhall attacked strongly throughout looking for the breakthrough, calling on Droitwich’s defence to hold firm.
The breakthrough came when Droitwich broke the deadlock after some good work from their forwards which saw Harry Baille cross the line to score.
Both sides were putting in some crunching tackles all across the pitch in this bruising encounter, Tom Innet and Max Fitter (m.o.m) were superb with both putting in huge try saving tackles. Jon Dowson and Charles Jackson also had good games, with Jackson tidying up well at the back.
The score remained 5 - 0 to Droitwich right up to the final minutes of the game, when Willenhall pushed over in the corner to see the game end all even.
