Under 9’s Moseley and Old Halesonians’ Festivals

Moseley Festival (Sunday, May 1st)
Droitwich Under 9’s did well to jointly win the annual Moseley Festival. In a tightly fought final Droitwich drew 20 – 20 with northern team Widnes. A hat-trick from Scot Howell and a try from Josh Feek helped secure the draw.
During the Tournament notable wins against Moseley and St Mary’s Bristol took Droitwich into the final.
Old Halesonians Festival (Sunday, May 1st)
A spirited ‘A’ squad fought through to be losing finalists in the plate competition. A good win against Bridgnorth was the highlight of the day. Good performances from Daniel Hartwright and Mike Fletcher bode well for next season.
