Luctonians U16 0 - Droitwich Gold U16 37
Sunday, 24th October, 2004
In another hastily arranged fixture the Gold side travelled to deepest Herefordshire to play Luctonians.
Despite the horrendous weather conditions on Saturday, the pitch and weather were excellent allowing the game to be played in fast flowing phases of strong driving and rucking by the pack and swift handling by the backs.
Seven tries were scored during the game with only 1 conversion. Even though the score suggested a rout, it did not actually do justice to the total dominance of the team.
A special mention must go to Ben Raybould, Stefan Buijnsters and James Owen who starred for our hosts.
