Droitwich U9 25 - Kidderminster U9 5
Sunday, 17th October, 2004
Both teams started the match in fine spirit and were evenly matched for the first quarter of the game.
The deadlock was broken when Scott Howell made a 20 yard break and then delivered a well timed pass to the supporting Jon Nottingham who powered over for the first try. Droitwich then took control of the game with Joel Power scoring two tries before half time.
In the second half, Droitwich showed more determination to contest for the ball at the breakdown which provided the opportunity to run in two more tries.
Kidderminster were restricted to one try due to good defensive tackling, particularly by Sam Philips and Harry Rees.
