Kidderminster 2nd XV 5 - Droitwich 2nd XV 21
Saturday 18th September 2004
Droitwich 1stXV captain Matt Blackmore dropped down to the second team to lend some experience to a young Droitwich side.
17 year old James Shewell scored his first try of the season, barging through a gap to go in under the posts for Blackmore to convert. Then Tony Chevews scored in the corner for the back-on-form Blackmore to convert once more.
Droitwich were then awarded a penalty try for Kidderminster’s repeated infringements in front of the posts. Droitwich 2nds took the game 21 points to 5 after a late Kidderminster score.
