Welcome to the Under 7s!

The U7s look forward to another exciting season ahead. There was a taste of some practice games played last year at joint training sessions with Cheltenham, Dudley and Kingswinford and Bromsgrove. The players really enjoyed the interaction with the other clubs and it was great to see some strong team spirit developing at an early age. Both the boys and girls who played came away with a great sense of achievement. This year we have a number of Tag games and tournaments on the fixture list so no week will be the same. We welcome all players of all standards who are starting Year 2 in September 2011 and will spend the season going through the basic skills and developing these into the Tag games that we play. The coaches over the summer have been on courses with the RFU and have come away with some good ideas to make the most out of the training and coaching sessions. Whilst we will be competing against other clubs for the first time this season our principal aim is to have fun'.
